"Wet Dream 2: Come again", hosted by Bristol and UWE (aka BrUWE) is here!!

For one weekend only, Bristol University and UWE are teaming up to bring you (DEFIN…(wait4 it)…..ITELY) the biggest weekend in windsurfing history...Wet Dream 2: Come again

Kicking off on Friday 11th March in the liveliest city of the South West, we invite you to join us at Roo Bar (BS8 2PN) from 17.30 - LATE, collect your immense event t-shirt, and get your lash on. Later on, we will be hitting the decks of The Bunker, for a hardcore launch party, followed by a cosy sleepover in the loving homes of fellow windsurfers (make sure you bring your own sleeping bag!)

Saturday morning sees a home-cooked sausage and bacon bap (or veggie equivalent), before the less hungover of us hit up Bowmoor Sailing Club, just a few cheeky junctions along the M4. The day will be filled with windsurfing for all abilities, with lessons for beginners, as well as plenty of free sailing along the way. Cooked lunch will be provided at the clubhouse, so feel free to leave your lunchboxes at home! UWE’s pres Nathan will be organising a training team, to make sure everybody gets the help they need. After a hardcore days sailing, we will be heading to our host homes to get in some pizzas and prepare/PRELASH for the night ahead.

The “climax” of the weekend will be on Saturday night, where the outrageous “Supermarket Superheroes” fancy dress (think Mr. Muscle, Tony the Tiger, The Green Giant...) will be donned before heading to The Harbourside. This evening promises a little something for everyone. Keeping us entertained will be The Phoenix and the Turtle (http://soundcloud.com/thephoenixandtheturtle), a local Indie band who have recently been snapped up by BMS Records, followed by some well-deserved cheese!

Sunday will consist of the standard racing, where we guarantee there will be a race to suit your ability. For those less keen to get on the water, there will be plenty of inter-uni competing on dry land too. We’ll be offering all sorts, from Jelly Wrestling, to a simple bit of 5-a-side. And what’s more, there will be plenty of prizes from our sponsors.

This weekend is not to be missed. For the mere price of £30 you will receive.....
