With no event possible at Rhosneigr this year the SWA and Spot-on-Water have stepped up to the mark to present a new format in SWA events. The event will be held on one of three weekends between 17th-31st March at a beach which is rapidly emerging as a great South coast surf break. Just check out this months issues of Windsurf and Boards to see what we're talking about. The large number of storms combined with a beach replenishment scheme has created a new sandbar which has produced one of the best waves in the South right now.

Southampton Uni will be providing accomodation and sorting a social at one of the finer establishments in Southampton. And what I hear you cry will this event cost? Well its free, with Spot-on-Water kindly providing rescue cover and the lovely students at Southampton offering up their floors for you to sleep on.

We will announce on the Wednesday of each week whether the event will run on the following weekend depending on the forecast.

This being the last event in the SWA RRD/Ezzy wave series the RRD hardcore wave board will be awarded to the overall winner of the series. With only one result so far the competition is far from settled and anyone could win the series.
