St Andrews Windstock 6-8th October '06 Following on from the extremely successful SWA events in the south, St Andrews University has teamed up with the SWA and are hosting Scotland's first inter-uni windsurfing weekend in at least 10 years!

Aiming to develop the Scottish windsurfing scene and encourage newcomers to the sport, all levels
from complete beginners through to spocking pro's are welcome.

We will be holding the event at the RYA centre Monikie Country Park, which
offers a great stretch of water, as well as obviously changing rooms, and
wetsuits and stuff like that. A range of instructional clinics will be run on
both days for beginners through to advanced, and obviously there will be races
for everyone who wants to compete (with prizes!!)

Obviously no windsurfing weekend would be complete without a social, and
Saturday night promises to be a lively one, as we head down to 1 Golf Place and
party the night away.

Don't worry about accommodation, for the majority of people, St-Andrews
windsurfers will make their houses available, and if this does not sound like
your idea of fun, the the youth hostel is right in the centre of town.

So, if you are a student windsurfer in Scotland or the north of England, there's
really no better place to be!
