Exeter's first event had very little or no wind, however; the surf was pumping. A  surfing competition was held at Sennen where we held two levels of competition. The rookie contest was the most popular as windsurfers took to the water minus their sails.

1st – Beaker (Exeter)

2nd – James Savage ‘Joker’ (Exeter)

1st lady - Emma (Cardiff)

There was a dazzling array of long boarding headstands and three sixty spins.

The "advanced" competition (which was for people who had been surfing before) was interesting as five people were told to go out in the water for an hour and give it their all.

1st – Hugo Cox (Cardiff)

2nd – Gav (Exeter)

Balls of steal – The nutter who went out on his windsurfer and very nearly got eaten by a large set!

Prize giving that evening was awesome as F1 style celebrations where undertaken. The social was a success with so much drunkenness we had all passed out on the dancefloor by 10pm following the 4th consequtive game of 'Roxanne'.

"I've never seen soo many people, soo drunk in one place, soo early in the night!" - Emily Shaw, SWA president

Sunday saw some epic conditions at Gwithian and a long drive home for some, hope you got home ok.
